The Heart of
Ash and Earth Studio
Ash and Earth Studio isn’t just a collection of handcrafted jewelry and art—it is a reflection of a journey. I’ve always believed that life is a series of frequencies. I’m a "glass half full" kind of person who wears my heart on my sleeve, and while I’ve walked through fire, I’ve learned how to protect my peace and keep low-vibration energies away. Even when the curve balls come, I’ve learned to focus on what I can change and surrender the rest. My mission is to translate that resilience into something tangible.
My Story
My Northwoods Path
After years of navigating a complex journey with Neurofibromatosis (NF2)—including brain surgeries and the physical shifts that come with it—I found my true North in Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota. I don’t believe in coincidences; I believe in manifestation. When I realized our home address and the license plates on our move from Maine perfectly aligned with the life I had envisioned, I knew I was exactly where I was meant to be.
Here, in the quiet of the Northwoods, I’ve found peace. It’s found in the small things: hand-feeding chickadees, walking the trails for meditation, sharing the path with my husband and our pups—Ginger, Clover, and Louie—or finding my flow at the forge. Every piece I create is infused with that stillness.
The Maker’s Mark
My creative roots run deep. I come from a family of makers, and today, I see my mother’s artistic spirit in everything I do. She taught me to see beauty in the small details—like the way a knot in a piece of poplar wood can hold the world, or how a tumbled agate catches the light.
My work—from my copper-forged jewelry to my nature paintings—is a tribute to that connection. I am deeply spiritual, guided by the geometry of life, numberology, and the quiet signs that tell me I’m never walking alone.
Living the Motto
In high school, I wrote: "If you’re afraid to get your feet dirty, you may never leave footprints behind." I keep that reminder tattooed on my foot as a promise to myself to keep moving, keep creating, and keep leaving my mark, no matter how tough the path gets.

-Thank you for being here, for supporting a solo maker, and for carrying a piece of Northwoods magic with you.
